Well I'm home.

I'm home at last from my 'gap 1/4 year' . I don't think I would have had the energy for a full year and any way I was missing DH. So nice to see my daughters and granddaughter and spend so much quality time with them.

I had a difficult job with the packing as I'd accumulated so much in the three months I have been away. And here I am simplifying my life. lol. Most of my acquisitions are yarn or sewing related and came from local yarn shops or op shops so I'm very pleased with them. Here is are the needles, accessories and a very good book on knitting stitches. This has come in very handy with the afghan I am making.

I also managed to pick up the Readers Digest Needlecraft book Rhonda Jean mentioned sometime ago and a pocket book of embroidery stitches.

A few squares for the Afghan up to forty something now but not much chance of any this week as so busy. I haven't even dug over the allotment and so much needs sowing. Number one son has offered to dig the whole plot as a Mothers day gift and I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. As he digs I can be preparing and sowing, should catch up eventually.

I've been trying to upload my photos but this dratted thing will not let me. I add them later if that is alright.
